Exploring QGIS class is coming!

The Exploring QGIS class is back with three new sections: 3D, Mobile, and the Temporal Controller. I know – 3 new sections but it’s 3 sections that have matured enough I’m including. Which makes this one a full 8 hours.

I had added lidar and mobile a few months back but in digging through QGIS really the last thing for me is the temporal controller. The temporal controller lets you visualize time series data. With that last addition, I can’t really add anything else to this class – it’s a “full introduction” to the fun that is QGIS:

Chapters:

  • Introduction and Interface
  • Data and Symbology
  • Temporal Controller
  • 3D
  • Mobile
  • Geoprocessing and Plugins
  • Editing
  • Layout Composer

My So called Life as a Map Maker

I can sum it up: It's not much of one. Way back in my younger days I was infatuated with ArcPlot (which was the plotting portion of ArcINFO). From there I moved to Arcview, ArcMap, and eventually here to QGIS. All of my work typically revolves around Data. I usually...
