QGIS Training August 8th 2013 in Chattanooga

Jul 9, 2013 | FOSS4G, QGIS, Training

We’re holding a class on August 8th for QGIS 1.8. Currently under debate is whether I follow that up with the QGIS Intermediate class on August 9th.

Intermediate?

Well – yes. We cover the basics in the intro class and I’ve had a request to do a more complex class. One with more editing and more cartography. I’m currently wrestling with that one now. I’ll know more about that this weekend. It appears it’s going to cover actual editing (like you’re going to produce something for public consumption and not just buffer something).

Until then – the 1.8 class will be held on August 8th in Chattanooga. $450 for the day – and you get a years worth of email support. So show up and learn a bit about Free and Open Source Software and how you can use QGIS to make your life a bit easier.
