Greetings from the Atlanta Airport at 7:10 AM. I am again flying during a time change – my body says it’s 8:10 but overall – this is easier than flying in the spring when the time changes.
I’ve already gotten lost twice and asked for directions once.
So this will be my 9th FOSS4GNA – the first being up in Minneapolis back in 2013. I said lst year I was going to slow down on conferences and in “general” I have slowed a bit. I’m still on three Geo boards though and that’s about to change. I’m attempting to get down to 1. More on that later.
My big push at this one is QGIS US – I have on emeeting planned. There are a few workshops tomorrow oriented around QGIS. We have a Birds of a Feather Meetup on Wednesday at 10:30. It is there I will attempt to announce the next phase of my evil plan. By next year expect some events.
So as I type this appraently thde flight is now full and I may have to check my bag. Anyway – more news moving forward from the conference.
