QGIS 2.14.8 LTR is out

After going on a rant a few blog posts ago on not updating your software –  I thought I would make the announcement: 2.14.8 is out.

2.14 is a Long Term Release. For those of you in a corporate or education setting and you want something that sticks around for a year – 2.14 is the version you want. It will be good until February of 2017.

A lot of people install it and then sit at that installed version – the developers are releasing updates. There have been 7 updates and this now makes 8. So please install the update – treat it like you would any update from a commercial software vendor.
