Mergin Maps Partnership

Jan 13, 2023 | MerginMaps, QGIS, Small Business

It’s been a bit since I’ve announced anything “new” – and this is. North River Gerographic Systems is now a Mergin Maps Partner.

If you’ve been around for any length of time you’ve seen “QGIS On Mobile”. AS of right now that comes down to: Qfield and Mergin Maps. Both Are awesome. Mergin Matches more of where I want to take NRGS going forward.

So what is Mergin?

It’s a plugin to QGIS. It’s also a web application. You build out your project with forms, symbology, and data and push this into Mergin Maps (the cloud portion) and download the project to your favorite Android/IOS Device. Go out and collect. Sync it all back.

Anyway – Training Classes are coming. The plan for NRGS is to use this to further the “data direction” of the company. Go out and collect and lets build out your database.

Curious? Get started now using it – there is a free tier you can use to test it all out.
