Conservation GIS

NRGS has a long history of working with environmental and conservation focused groups. As a company we’re working with watershed conservation groups (Conasauga River Alliance), land conservation groups (Tennessee River Gorge Trust), and water conservation groups (Waterways).

Randal Hale (Owner and Operator) has spent a large part of his career working with conservation groups and helping those groups fulfill their mission throughout the southeast.

NRGS can help with:

  • Data Collection
  • Cartography
  • Analysis
  • Reports
  • Websites

We work primarily with Open Source Tools (QGIS, GRASS, PostGIS, Geoserver) to make this happen. We find that those tools provide the best results with conservation groups.  We also try to offer reduced rates or a service level package to help your group full fill their mission.
