Speaker: Tony Giarrusso, Senior Research Scientist and Associate Director of the Center for GIS at GA Tech

Bio: Mr. Tony Giarrusso is a Senior Research Scientist and Associate Director of the Center for Geographic Information Systems at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Giarrusso has used GIS technologies to help government, industry and non-profit organizations around the world make better informed decisions regarding their future.

Presentation: Mr. Giarrusso will present findings from his recently completed urban tree canopy assessment for the City of Atlanta, as well as an update on the next assessment, which is currently underway.
