Description of Class

This course teaches the range of functionality available in the software and the essential tools for visualizing, creating, managing, and analyzing geographic data. These hands-on course exercises, emphasize practice with ArcMap and ArcCatalog (the primary applications included with ArcGIS Desktop software) to perform common GIS tasks and workflows. The tools for creating and managing geographic data, displaying data on maps in different ways, and combining and analyzing data to discover patterns and relationships, are highlighted. You also learn how ArcGIS Desktop provides a complete GIS software solution. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to start working with the software on your own. During this class we will also be providing Tips and Tricks that we have learned over the last few years. This will get the user up and working quicker with a better understanding of the fundamentals of ArcGIS.

This class will count toward GISP certification.

Pricing is currently $1175 for training either in Chattanooga or at a clients location. A minimum of five people will be needed to hold a class. If you need training and you budget is exceptionally tight - please call or email for our crreative pricing program.

With budgets being tight, we are now offering onsite training. All that is needed is for the client to provide a room that is adequate for the number of people that are going to attend. Discounts are also available when combined with other services.

Location

Training will be held in the scenic North Shore area of North Chattanooga at the Small Business Development Center. This facility is within walking distance of restuarants, shopping, and public transportation.
